# About Moreland Associates

Interim executive leaders who take technology companies to their next milestone, and leave them stronger than they found them.

## Who we are

Moreland Associates is a select group of senior executives with proven abilities in entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy and execution. Our experience ranges from leading functions in mature companies to founding technology start-ups. CEOs, boards and venture capital partners bring us in when the next milestone calls for leadership they don’t yet have.

We aren’t a bench of resumes. We’re executives who have worked together, operate under one banner and one philosophy, and know each other’s strengths well. When a company needs more than one leader, we can field a team that already works as one.

## How we work

- **The business comes first.** We start with what your business needs right now, whether that’s revenue, the team, the go-to-market engine or the operating model, and we stay only as long as our work keeps serving that need.
- **Strategy and execution, together.** Strategy is useless without execution, and execution without strategy is inefficient and likely to fail. We set the direction and then do the work.
- **Persistent value.** The value we create should last long after we’re gone. That means building the systems, processes and teams that keep delivering, not just doing the job while we’re there.
- **Experience, not playbooks.** Every company is different, especially in the start-up world. We bring pattern recognition from decades of doing this work, not a cookie-cutter method.
